School Discipline
Discipline is the law of nature, without it nothing works. Inculcation of discipline among children is the most significant aspect of education, not confined to school alone. Therefore, parents too must co-operate with the school in observing the following norms :
1) Irregular attendance, unjustified or unexplained absence from school, habitual late coming, leaving the school premises without permission, disobedience, and any type of unruly and objectionable behaviour are considered to be grave acts of indiscipline on part of a student which can lead to his/ her rustication from the school.
2) Leave availed should be intimated through the school diary, to the class teacher, by the parent.
3) Absence for more than three days on medical grounds must be accompanied by a medical certificate. For any other absence, for more than three days, prior approval of the principal is mandatory.
4) Students are expected to take proper care of the school property. It is there for their convenience. They should not break any item of furniture and fixtures within the school. If a student causing damage to the school property is identified, he/ she will be charged along with fine.
5) Students are not allowed to bring mobile phones to the school. If a student is found in possession of a mobile phone, the phone will be confiscated.
6) The school is not to be held responsible for the loss of personal belongings. It is not advisable for students to bring valuables to the school.
7) Students should not wear smart watches to school.
8) Running and shouting in the school premises is not allowed. While using staircases and corridors, all must keep to the left. Loitering in the lobby and the office area is strictly forbidden even during the recess.
9) Students are strictly forbidden from purchasing eatables from unauthorised vendors/ hawkers near the school premises.
10) No money collection for any purpose is allowed to be made in the school, without prior permission of the Principal.
11) It is compulsory for all students to attend the assembly.
